better

Today went well. Nausea pills must of worked. No barfing. In and out for the radiation. Only takes about ten minutes. No waiting today. We even got some Christmas shoping done.

  1. Whoopee ............ grateful today for a tender mercy. Does that mean no barf bags for Christmas? and I thought a lump of coal was a bad present. love mom

  2. Hi Sam,
    So sorry to hear about Dan. I have had one heck of a year too. My mother was diagnosed with an aggressive bladder cancer. Went to Seattle and they said it was inoperable and she can not have radiation therapy for the cancer, because she had cerivical cancer with radiation therapy 25+ years ago. We went to the cancer center in Kennewick and she went through a series of chemo treatments. She had her PET scan today, but we won't know the results until next week. We are hopeful that the tumors are gone. My mom did not have much trouble with the chem. She got tired about a day after treatment and only lost some hair. She stayed in good spirits for the treatments. She did have to have three blood transfusions, not sure where the blood went. We hope the results are good so she can have a happy new year.
    I hope all goes well with Dan and that the new year brings only happy days.
